McIntosh Group Camp where Red Tower 2023 will be held in the area circled on this map. It is accessed via Cenie Rd. If you search for “Indian Springs State Park” in a mapping program, it will most likely bring you to a different area of the park on the other side of the lake, but the GPS coordinates do not lie!
Here are a few different ways you could use to successfully navigate to the event regardless of what mapping program you use. Please note that you will need to turn on Cenie Rd. to reach the group camp no matter which way you come.

Red Tower Accommodations:
– The event will be at Indian Springs State Park in the McIntosh Group Camp.* A weekend Red Tower registration includes bunk space in our reserved group dorm-style cabins. The cabins consist of four large bunkhouses equipped with electricity. Bring your own bedding. Toilets, showers, and sinks are located inside each bunkhouse. The cabins are not air-conditioned.
– Campsites for tent or RV camping are available nearby within Indian Springs State Park but the reservation fee for those would be separate from the Red Tower registration fee. If you camp elsewhere in the park or stay in a hotel, please use the daytrip option when registering. For more information on the park or to make separate reservations, please visit: https://gastateparks.org/IndianSprings
– Georgia State Park Parking Passes are required but only per vehicle, not per person. You may obtain them via your Red Tower registration, through the park system, or they may be available via Georgia libraries with a library card.
*please do not confuse McIntosh Group Camp within Indian Springs State Park with McIntosh Reserve Park, the location in Carroll County of many past SCA events. Indian Springs State Park is approximately an hour southeast of Atlanta.
